From the East:

 

             We will be having a Master Mason degree on December 11 at 7:00 PM in our lodge room. The lodge brethren are encouraged to attend and give our new Master Mason support and welcome to our lodge. With all the parts in this degree, we will need a lot of participation from our lodge brothers to put the degree on and we have not had any one at degree practice lately. We do have Thunderbird 15 shirts and bumper stickers for sale from the Secretary. If you would like to join us for dinner after the Installation of officers on December 27, please make your reservations by December 19. Worshipful Brother Reza Farrokh will be giving a half hour video presentation at the end of the next stated meeting.

            The annual election of officers was held at the November 5, 2008 stated meeting. The elected officers for 2009 are:

A big Thank-you to Dennis Eisholtz for donating a second antique brass doorknocker to the lodge room. Denny is not a member of Thunderbird 15, though he visits frequently, his home lodge is Brighton Lodge #247 in Michigan. Thank-you, Dennis for contributing to our renovation effort.

 

Sickness and Distress

 

            Lily Grayson is continuing to recover from injuries she suffered in a fall in October. After many ups and downs with internal problems and some surgeries, she is off dialysis and has been released from the hospital and is presently recovering at Plaza Healthcare, 1475 N. Granite Reef Rd., Room 242, bed 2, Scottsdale AZ. All our prayers and thoughts are needed for as quick and complete a recovery as possible.

 

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF MEETING DATE:

 

            The January Stated Meeting will be held on January 8, 2009 at 7:00 PM. This change is being made to accommodate the observance of the New Year Holliday on January 1, which would be our normal meeting date.

We really appreciate your continued membership in Thunderbird #15.  Dues cards for Perpetual and Senior Life Members will be sent out this week. If you do not receive yours soon, please let me know. Cards for regular members will be going out as payments come in. If you have any problems or issues that I can help resolve, please give me a call at 480-510-8564.
