Greetings Brothers,    

This is Brother Jon Logan. I am the Junior Warden at Thunderbird #15 Lodge and  I am writing you all today to ask that you please send any updated email address or home address and Phone # info to shephard00@yahoo.com . This will allow us to get you updated information in a timely fashion. As well as to remind you about upcoming events, such as degrees being held, and meeting times. Thank you and I hope you have a terrific summer.

  

From the Secretary:

There will be an outdoor degree (MM) at Fein Ranch in Prescott Valley on September 19. It is an all day event which starts at 10:00am and we will be leaving at 8:00am. The cost is $25.00 and includes lunch and a Bolo tie. Some of the lodge brothers are going to car pool and if anyone is interested in going, please feel free to contact me. Also, the annual Masonic Education Academy is September 25-27 in Rio Rico, which is south of Tucson. This open to all Master Masons and registration ends on September 15. If you are interested in attending please contact the Master or myself and we will furnish you with more information.

The November 5 Stated Meeting is also elections night. As usual we presently have a very short roster of qualified officers for the South, West and East. We need brothers who are interested in seeing the continuation of this lodge to come to our training and fellowship nights and work on getting qualified for one of these chairs. If you are not interested in qualifying for one of these chairs, then you could volunteer for one of the other chairs, some of which have been vacant for some time, for which the only qualification is a willing Master Mason. We will also be electing the Secretary, Treasurer and one Trustee. This is your lodge and it is in your best interest to ballot for your officers and to give your time as you are able for lodge activities.

 Dues notices for 2011 will be sent out around the first half of November. Regretfully, dues will be going up due to the $4.26 increase in per capita. Our Lodge dues are $48.00 plus per capita, which will now be $20.26, giving a total of $68.26. If you are a Perpetrual or Senior Life member this increase will not affect you.

We really appreciate your continued membership in Thunderbird #15.  If you have any problems or issues that I can help resolve, please give me a call at 480-510-8564.
